About Dani Bonnet — Los Angeles Neon Artist
We are like moths to the neon flame…

Dani Bonnet comes from neon roots in Las Vegas — her grandparents ran a commercial neon repair shop in Sin City which her father and uncle worked for. Growing up she was trained to spot neon signs with the potential for them to repair. She studied Biochemistry and graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2015, immediately after which she moved to Los Angeles. She rediscovered her love of neon signage by driving through the streets of LA late at night, became consumed with the thought of how neon signs were made, and decided to seek out learning the craft. She received a tool box containing the remainder of her grandparents' old neon bending equipment and started an apprenticeship to master the craft.
After years of pursuit in the craft, Dani stands as a beacon of creativity, seamlessly melding her scientific background with the vivid artistry of neon. Her work resonates with a profound appreciation for the interplay of light and form — a testament to her deep-rooted passion and relentless pursuit of artistic mastery. Through her unique fusion of tradition and innovation, Dani's illuminations occupy not only physical spaces but also the hearts and minds of all who encounter her dazzling artistry.

Custom Neon Art & Commissions in Los Angeles
From her Los Angeles studio, Dani designs and hand-bends custom neon signs, sculptures, and light installations for private collectors, restaurants, retail spaces, and film and event productions. Every piece is crafted in the traditional way — glass tubes bent over an open flame and filled with noble gas — making each commission a one-of-a-kind neon artwork rather than an LED reproduction. Recent commissions include neon and lighting design for Bad Roman in Beverly Hills and installations across greater Los Angeles.
